It is important for you to improve your balance as you reduce the risk of injury.  A sprain ankle or a muscle pull could keep you away from the activities you enjoy or cause more injury. Regular balance work can help your greatly decrease the risk of a sprain.

Now balance is not just about your legs. You have to learn to use your muscles. Such exercises will help you improve your posture and strength.
